Harry saw Voldemort kill Frank Bryce in a 'dream' and his scar hurt; but he only wrote to Sirius about the scar NOT the rest of the dream. Petunia made the whole family go on a diet and tried to keep Dudley's spirits up by giving Harry even less. Harry got to keep all of his things with him in his room because the Dursley's were afraid of him writing to his godfather.

2- Invite for dinner.

The Dursley's had decided to NOT invite them for dinner even though they were a half-hour late. Whether the twins admitted it or not, using magic on an unsuspecting Muggle for fun is called 'Muggle-baiting.' Arthur couldn't comprehend why anyone would board up a fireplace so ended up behind the wall.
